TENK (AT VI LEVER)
PROJECT 2016/2017
The line ‘Tenk at vi lever’ (Being alive: is amazing) is from a speech made by Norwegian artist Victor Sparre at philosopher Arild Håland’s funeral. This statement was first made when Victor Sparre visited the 90+ philosopher at his home. Such a positive and humble statement made by a wise man in the last stages of a long life, deserves a wall in our city. The parenthesis is meant to pen up for a broader interpretation of the statement.
He was, after all, a philosopher.
